Weather Effects Caribou Migration and Season

Observation: Up here, from what I hear and have experienced this summer, is that because it was raining so much there were so many mosquitoes that a lot of the tuttu (caribou) were staying near the ocean for relief. Our berries were early this year due to such a rainy summer. Some people started picking in July when usually it’s August or mid-August. Quinugan Roddy
